Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Paint Specialist or a Fiberglass Boat Painter to join our team.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE SPRAY PAINTING AUTOMOBILES OR BOATS.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work. As a Boat Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role requires both technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs.
Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
Mix paints and finishes according to specifications to achieve desired colors and textures.
Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and care.
Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary touch-ups.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including power tools and precision measuring instruments.
Adhere to safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
Perform heavy lifting as required when moving materials or equipment.
Experience
Automobile spray painting experience
KNOWLEDGE OF PAINTS, SPRAYERS, ETC. FOR THE AUTO/BOAT INDUSTRY
Proven experience as a Fiberglass Boat Painter is preferred.
Familiarity with various painting techniques and tools is essential.
Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding equipment maintenance and repair.
Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm
Must have a clean background and pass a drug test.
