Business Development Partner – Licensed General Contractor (Florida)
We are seeking a driven Business Development Partner to help scale and lead a growing construction brand. Our company is a licensed General Contractor with full Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) licensing in the state of Florida.
This is not a typical role—it’s an opportunity to step in as a partner, take ownership of growth, and build out the operation into its next phase.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Leading business development strategy and execution across Florida
Building and maintaining strong client relationships in both private and public sectors
Identifying, bidding, and securing new projects in commercial, residential, and specialty markets
Driving operational growth, profitability, and brand reputation
Collaborating with the ownership team on long-term vision, expansion, and diversification
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or operations in construction or related industries
Strong understanding of Florida’s construction market and regulatory landscape
Entrepreneurial mindset, with the drive to act as an owner—not just an employee
Ability to network effectively and bring in contracts at scale
Leadership skills to help grow and eventually oversee teams and operations
