Superior Skilled Trades is hiring carpenters for a long-term project in the Ft Myers, Marco Island, Boca Grande, FL area (must be willing to commute between these areas).
PAY: $21-$24/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays 5 days per week -Some Saturdays
SCHEDULE: 8:00 am-5:00 pm
START DATE: 09/01/2025
Job Overview:
This position involves working on swing stages up to 20 stories and higher, assisting with a variety of construction tasks. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of proven construction experience and the ability to work independently while following direction. This role does not involve supervision but may have the potential to grow into that capacity over time.
Responsibilities:
Perform carpentry and construction tasks including:
Installing doors and windows
Painting, waterproofing, caulking, and stucco work
Cement work and demolition
Safely operate and work on swing stages up to 20+ stories
Utilize basic and intermediate hand and power tools effectively
Carry out manual labor tasks to support project teams
Follow all safety protocols, site procedures, and company policies
Work independently while taking direction from supervisors or lead carpenters
Qualifications:
5+ years of proven construction or carpentry experience
Strong skills in doors, windows, painting, waterproofing, caulking, and stucco
Ability to work confidently on swing stages at heights (safety training provided if needed)
Knowledge of basic cement work, demolition, and painting
Solid understanding of construction tools and techniques
Strong work ethic with the ability to follow direction

Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
Comfortable working at heights
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
A commitment to following safety guidelines and protocols at all times
Must be able to pass a background check
