Key Responsibilities:
Level 3 Generator Technician Responsibilities
Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair on a variety of generator systems, including diesel, gas, and bi-fuel generators.
Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure optimal performance of generator sets.
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to facilitate repairs and upgrades.
Install and commission new generator systems in accordance with industry standards.
Respond to emergency call-outs and provide timely, efficient service to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of service activities and parts used.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians as needed
Qualifications:
Generator Technician
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with generators, preference for at least 2 years at a Level 3 or equivalent position.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on power generation.
Ability to read and interpret complex technical documents and schematics.
Certification in generator technology or related fields is preferred.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
