Field mechanic will oversee all aspects of machinery, pumps, and small tools. Primary responsibility is to diagnose repair needs, make repairs, and coordinate shipment and receipt of parts. The mechanic is responsible for performing repairs and services on many kinds of machines including but not limited to the following:
Excavators
Loaders
Skid Steers
Graders
Rollers
Hydraulic Pumps (power units and pump heads)
Small tools - i.e. chain saw, generators, cut off saws, mud hog pumps, etc.
Incidental welding operations
Maintenance of pick-up trucks including routine oil changes, fluid changes, battery replacement, brake repair
Repair and replacement of hydraulic hoses
High School diploma preferred, must have clean driving record and own your own tools. Must be detailed oriented and a self starter.
