We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drapery construction and a passion for creating high-quality window treatments. This role involves working with various fabrics and sewing machines to fabricate draperies, top treatments and other according to specifications. The Seamstress will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet our quality standards while adhering to deadlines.
Duties
Operate sewing machines to stitch, sew, and assemble products.
Perform construction tasks, calculating, cutting, constructing.
Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet design specifications.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
Proven experience in drapery construction and sewing techniques.
Proficiency in operating various types of sewing machines.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow patterns and instructions accurately.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with fabric types and their properties is preferred.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
