Based out of the Page Mechanical Group facility in Ft Myers, FL, and reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Plumber is responsible for troubleshooting, repair and maintenance tasks on commercial accounts in the Fort Myers metro area.
Responsibilities:
Plumber determines service needs, quote prices, and perform repairs.
Work involves performance of skilled plumbing tasks in maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of fixtures and equipment. It also includes installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems.
Must be able to assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
Basic repairs of faucets and pipes.
Ability to diagnose and analyze causes of plumbing problems.
Be thorough in inspections, and accurate in quoting replacements or repairs.
Able to work with copper, galvanize and iron piping to include soldering, cutting and threading Follow the outline of company policies and procedures.
Adhere to instructions of supervisors and managers.
Participate in all required staff meetings and trainings.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED certificate
5-10 Years Commercial Plumbing Service Jobs Experience
Must be able to install fixtures, make plumbing repairs to all systems, and be proficient in running drain calls and sewer machine operations.
Ability to work alone and go on service calls with a professional customer service attitude is a must.
Knowledge of plumbing codes
Valid Drivers License
Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds repetitively.
Must be able to physically perform frequent ladder work.
Must adhere to all OSHA and Page Mechanical safety policies and procedures.
