Repair Technician Responsibilities:
Technician performs service, installation, and repair work on water treatment equipment, pumps, pressure tanks, and well piping. Technician will inspect equipment, test water quality, and report on findings. Tasks are completed within well-defined times and specifications. Truck, phone, electric tools and shirts are provided.
Repair Technician Qualifications:
Prior water treatment or outside service experience (Plumbing, Electric, Tech School, etc.) is required. The candidate must be mechanically inclined, have a passion for learning the skills of the profession, and a desire to solve problems and help people. Clean driving record is vital.
Qualifications include:
Technical aptitude and troubleshooting capability.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Must be able to lift fifty-five pounds to a height of 4 feet off the floor.
Valid Driver’s license and insurable.
High School Diploma (or equivalent).
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Personal and appearance must be clean and well maintained to present a positive image to the customer.
Acceptable written and verbal communication skills.
Helpful attitude, team player and sense of urgency.
Ability to work independently.
Must speak English, bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Must be able to work overtime and some weekends.
