Delivery Driver needed for an auto part delivery position. The job consists of delivering orders for auto parts to local customers in specific areas using your own vehicle. This is a full-time, 1099 contract position. You will be delivering 5 runs a day. The driver must come to the warehouse in Ft. Myers for the first run in the morning (6:45 AM) then heads to Naples for the next 4 runs. You will be responsible for your own taxes, vehicle maintenance, and gas. The delivery driver is responsible for covering their route Monday thru. Friday at our location. There will also be a rotating Saturday. Opportunity for advancement with a growing company.
Specific Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old. Able to lift up to 75 lbs. Able to work under minimal supervision; pay attention to detail. Capable of working under time constraints to get parts picked and assembled for delivery and delivered to customers on time. Available to start work immediately Positive attitude, good communication skills in front of customers, and ability to work well in a team environment. Drive all day. Possible availability on Saturday Additional Requirements: Have a good driving record - No recent DWI/DUI's. Must pass a criminal background check and be able to pass a drug test Drive a reliable vehicle. Must be fully insured with minimum bodily injury liability insurance of 100/300 K Must have a GPS system in your car or on your phone.
