Seeking TEAM DRIVERS/ Premade team already established.
Class A commercial license required
looking for team drivers, mostly drop/hook long miles. fed ex loads, xpo, ups, etc. these are the main carriers we haul for but there is a mix of lots of others. 90% drop and hook.
equipment is 2022/2023 freightliners Cascadia, very well maintained and very clean trucks. automatic and they are governed at 68 mph. fully loaded interior, refridgerator,microwave etc.
DRUG TESTING: you must submit and pass a hair follicle test that goes back 90 days and also at same time a urine analysis testing. this must be completed prior to orientation and hire.
Seeking individuals who don't like to complain and work hard. Also seeking individuals who are clean and will take care of the equipment as I have a zero tolerance for dirty trucks and not kept up to par and clean of how you took them.
Requirements are: one driver must have a minimum of 6 months experience while the other can have less. so, one teammate can train the other. but 6 months minimum on one driver. Can NOT have speeding tickets 15 or over, no major recent accidents, no SAP and truck abandonment on record. Also, must be able to drive-in all-weather conditions as driving in mountains and snow is a requirement. with that said we will try our best to stay out of bad weather areas during certain times.
pre-trip and post trip inspections are a must and if people are lazy and refuse to do them or caught not, they might as well not apply at all as I will fire for it. trucking is important to be safe and proactive in Maintenace and is expected fully.
orientation is three days in Iowa, and transportation will be paid for with housing provided and two meals breakfast and lunch.
Sign on bonus of 1000.00 at 90 days 1000.00 at 180 days and 2000.00 at 1 year. each driver
pay is .65 cents split all miles for the first 60days and then goes to .75cents a mile all miles loaded and or empty split per truck. pay for right now is only a 1099 contract but possibly going to offer w-2 in the near future if that is what one would prefer. this is being worked on now as I expand.
my expectations of drivers is high and i treat my drivers very good as i am a driver myself. But i do hold drivers accountable and the standards of cleanliness and on time pick up and deliveries are high as the freight we haul is almost all expedited freight that has tight windows of delivery for the customer. there is room to grow and possibly train other new drivers which means extra pay with that. I am a small company and growing so I'm looking for drivers who have understanding and not complainers at all.
