Greeting all patients and visitors coming into the office
Collecting/documenting patient information in EMR and prepping patient charts
Checking patients in/out
Managing patient scheduling
Verifying patient insurance
Answering patient questions and addressing patient concerns
Relaying patient messages to appropriate personnel
Delivering exceptional customer service
Managing multi-line phone systems
Complying with HIPAA policies
Maintaining patient medical records and processing medical records requests
Navigating EMR
Requesting/processing referrals and authorizations
Applying medical terminology knowledge
PATIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST- JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 1 year of recent medical front office experience - applicants with no medical front office experience will not be considered
HS Diploma or GED required
Background check and 10-panel drug screen with nicotine included
Must be eligible to work in the United States
