Vet Office Sales & Customer Success - Gainesville-based sales (distributor support)/customer success position for small innovative animal health company. Prior vet office experience (tech or OM) or vet office sales required. Some FL travel.

AuxTheras flagship product, Trimauxil„, addresses the number one health issue facing our pets, their weight. Trimauxil is an easy to use prescription only product that is provided with an ingenious supporting app that saves vet offices time in nutritional consults and has the potential to transform the way veterinarians treat overweight dogs.

We are seeking a Florida focused Sales and Customer Success Manager (SCSM) to round out our experienced technical team.

YOUR ROLE OVERVIEW:

The role of a SCSM is critical as the lifetime value of each veterinary office is much more than their initial purchase. You understand the need for and enjoy building and nurturing genuine customer relationships. This role requires strong entrepreneurial skills as you will be developing many relationships from the ground up with a new to the market product.

In this full-time role you will work primarily with our distributor on new and existing veterinary clinics to ensure that they are successful and happy with AuxTheras products and service. It is your responsibility to effectively help distributor close sales, onboard/train these accounts, spur usage in the early stages, ramp ongoing use, and build high veterinary office staff satisfaction ensuring high retention.

Creative, energetic and self-driven, you understand the day to day dynamics of the veterinary office including the different team roles and responsibilities and typical new product adoption, and you know how to be a trusted partner so clinics stay and grow with Trimauxil. While proactively working with team to drive adoption, you will also act as the voice of our customers internally at AuxThera and grow our internal customer management system. You can manage numerous customers at different stages of the customer lifecycle with ease. You also love understanding a product in depth and then communicating that product to the veterinary office users. You will report directly to the CEO and have a strong potential for expanding responsibilities as the company grows.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Manage distributor-led sales and post-sales activity for customers through strong relationship-building, product knowledge, planning and execution with a focus on Florida

Consistently achieve key metrics including: # calls per day, # calls to trial, time from enrollment to full office penetration of target dogs, % penetration of target dogs, % penetration of total vets in region

Identify and convert qualified leads and then manage key relationships within practices including: Veterinarian(s), Office Managers, Vet Techs, Nutritionists, Receptionists, while maintaining quality notes on every account in CRM

Development of a program champion in each account

Increase customer retention by conducting regular check-in calls for tactical items, and perform quarterly health checks for strategic reviews

Track accounts to identify churn risk and work proactively to eliminate that risk

2) Maintain a deep understanding of the product and speak with customers about the most relevant features/functionality for their specific clientele

Work with AuxThera team to develop a plan for maximizing Trimauxils value proposition

Work closely with technical development and manufacturing on identification and tracking of enhancement requests and bugs

Function as the voice of our veterinary customer to provide internal feedback on how Trimauxil can better serve them

3) 40-60% daily travel to Florida customer locations, trade shows, professional education events and training events

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

2+ years field sales experience in animal health OR 4+ years prior vet office work experience as a Technician or Office Manager

Valid drivers license

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Degree in Animal Health or related field

Veterinary Technician certification

Socially intelligent, excellent at building and maintaining relationships

Clear communicator with technical aptitude and knows how to establish procedures

Proactive, organized team player

Enjoys working closely with customers to ensure complete satisfaction

Independent self-starter who takes the initiative to get things done

Creative in meeting objectives with limited resources

Working knowledge of veterinary industry with fresh ideas when it comes to user adoption and churn mitigation

Strong drive to grow territory and a passion for pets

COMPENSATION:

The range is $40-75k depending on experience, job performance and sales commission/bonus structure (flexible). Possibility of equity-based performance bonus.

LOCATION:

This position will be based full-time in Gainesville, FL at the company headquarters. Outside of the necessary travel, remote work is not an option. If you arent familiar, Gainesville is a hip mid-sized city with a highly educated population and a great quality of life.
