Weekend Shift: Fri-Sun 5:30 am -5:30 pm ( will receive two 15-minute breaks and a 30 min lunch Break)
Job Description: The Reach Truck Operator is responsible for operating reach trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse. This role ensures the efficient and safe handling of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy and contributing to the overall productivity of the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
-Operate reach trucks to move goods and materials to designated locations within the warehouse.
-Load and unload products from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and placement.
-Perform daily inspections of the reach truck to ensure it is in safe working condition.
-Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, verifying product quantities and descriptions.
-Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
Requirements:
-Proven experience operating reach trucks in a warehouse or distribution environment.
-Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) are a plus.
-Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 60 lbs) as needed.
-Capable of working in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions.
-Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and operating heavy machinery.
