We are seeking a skilled Certified Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance for a variety of vehicle makes and models. Canidates must have ASE certification or recent experience equivalent.
Automotive Technician Duties
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using appropriate tools and equipment
- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts
- Complete repairs efficiently and accurately
- Have extensive knowledge of electrical diagnostics
- Keep abreast of industry trends and technologies
-Be able to lead/train lower level technicians
-Be a team player with the ability to adapt to work environment changes.
Automotive Technician Skills
- Proficiency in using power and pneumatic tools to do repairs on vehicles
- Ability to work on various vehicle brands both foreign and domestic
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical diagnostics and repair techniques
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems
- Experience with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus
- Skill in diesel engine repair is advantageous
- Ability to work along side other technicians in diag and repairs
- Mechanical aptitude for general automotive repairs
-Ability to read electrical diagrams
-Willing and able to continue learning and bettering knowledge of new technologies
- MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS
Automotive Technician Qualifications
-ASE Certification preferred-RECENT WORK EXPERIENCE EQUIVALENT IS A MUST
-Mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
-Must have minimum 3 years experience working in a shop as a mechanic
