Operations Coordinator
Job Responsibilities:
Work directly with the Plant Manager to assist him with tasks necessary to run the plant.
Learn various programs to assist (back-up) scheduling the plant as needed.
Assist with inventory control, material staging, and job sequencing
Ensure compliance with safety and quality inspections using Quality Reports
Use eMaintenance to enter and manage work orders, track preventive and corrective maintenance, and document daily machinery inspections.
In charge of biweekly safety meetings through building power point presentations, and maintaining
meeting logs
Act as the payroll processor for production employees by verifying daily time records and submitting accurate time reports to accounting.
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Bi-lingual Spanish & English (must)
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant experience preferred
Technically savvy with a strong working knowledge of excel and other Microsoft Suite tools
Construction experience is a plus
Manufacturing experience is a plus
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Physical Work Environment:
Manufacturing/production facility environment
May require standing, walking, and occasional lifting
Exposure to noise; PPE required when on the production floor
