ELECTRICIAN'S HELPER
Job Summary
We currently have an opening for an Electrician Helper in our Gainesville, Florida division. The electrician’s helper is responsible for assisting electricians with installing and maintaining electrical and power systems.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & SCOPE:
Execute plans of electrical wiring for electrical systems as directed.
Install parts by assembling devices, using hand and power tools.
Determine dimensional requirements of components by using tape measure or ruler.
Adjusts functional parts of devices by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straight edges.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Connect wiring in electrical circuits, ensuring compatibility of components.
Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1+ years proven experience in electrical construction
Experience in industrial and/or commercial construction
Demonstrable ability to use hand tools
Knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts
Possess a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record
Lift and move up to 80 lbs.
Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Identify wire and cable color
Must have the legal right to work in the United States
Must be able to pass drug screening
Must be able to pass a background check
Must have the ability to cut bend and install conduit and supports
Experience is a must!
