We are looking for an expert to produce parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. This position is for a manufacturing company in the aviation industry located in Hialeah, FL. We offer a competitive salary and full benefits package. Apply here!salary: $60,000 - $68,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials,specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machiningparameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). Monitoring inventory levels Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points;setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculatingrequirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs. Sets-up mills and lathes Loads feed mechanism Verifies settings Maintains specifications; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions;troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacingworn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. Maintains equipmentThe essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
