Your Specific Responsibilities: This position spends more than 50% of the time engaged in supervisory responsibilities. This includes communicating with, motivating, training, and evaluating employees in addition to planning and directing employees’ work. The incumbent has the authority to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline subordinate employees or effectively recommend such action. The incumbent will also be required to develop performance expectations, meet with staff regularly to discuss performance, complete performance reviews, maintain vacation and work schedules, ensuring proper coverage, and complete timesheets. Develops and monitors monthly Healthy Start budget. Assures compliance with Healthy Start contracts. Responsible for maintaining the Quality Assurance and Quality improvement (QA/QI System) relative to contracted activities. Assure contractual performance specifications. Complete monthly and Quarterly Healthy Start reports and submit reports to Healthy Start Coalition According Healthy Start contractual stipulations. Ensure Healthy Start care coordinators are screening for depression using Edinburgh Depression Scale Ensure Healthy Start care coordinators are providing developmental screenings for infants and children up to the age of three using Ages and Stages Questionnaires. As a certified trainer of Ages and Stages Questionnaires (ASQ) and will provide ASQ training to Healthy Start care coordination staff. As a certified trainer of Interconception education and counseling curriculum (ICC) and will provide ICC training to Healthy Start care coordination staff. Participate with the Healthy Start Coalition on the Centralized Coordinated In-Take and Referral Team. May provide direct case management services as needed. Collaborates with alternative service delivery providers to promote client access to care. Coordinate’s activities and training for staff and volunteers to assure the delivery of quality services. Collaborates with colleagues, community partners and state agency staff. Attends the Healthy Start Coalition of Pasco Board meetings. Submits timesheets, EARS, and travel forms correctly, timely and in accordance with established agency and division guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of methods of compiling, organizing, and analyzing data.

Ability to utilize problem solving techniques.

Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Ability to supervise people and prioritize workload.

Ability to assess budgetary needs.

Qualifications:

Bachleor's Degree in social sciences; a health related field such as nursing, health education, health planning, or health care administration; or social work.
