Description
Consider this Jacksonville, Florida area opportunity for a talented and professional long-term contract / temporary to hire Software Developer! This is a position's main duty is to be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company. Applicants should have a growth mindset and the ability to work both independently and with a team. Looking for candidates that would like to work 1 day in office per week.
Your responsibilities
- Resolve and obtain production support
- Cooperate with Scrum team to supply precise work estimates
- Constantly carry out code-review and cooperate with other developers
- Deliver clear and consistent report around solutions and time estimate to client-facing program management teams
- If you can maintain and develop new features to internal and external facing software to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues on various operating systems, this job might be for you
Requirements
- More than 2 years of experience required
- Applicants with knowledge of enterprise size applications will be preferred.
- Applicants should have experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.
- Applicants with experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc. are preferred.
- Experience documenting, crafting, and testing APIs
- Applicants with familiarity with scrum are preferred
- SQL Stored Procedures experience
- Angular experience
- Experience with GIT
- Adeptness in API Development
- C# experience required
- Solid understanding of .NET
- Applicants who can write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments are preferred
- We are particularly looking for candidates with familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database)
