POSITION: Bartender DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage REPORTS TO: Sr. Food and Beverage ManagerFLSA STATUS: Part-Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt SummaryASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Bartender at ASM Global/SAVOR Jacksonville, responsible for servicing customers with alcoholic beverages.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Set up and break down of assigned bar
Handles all forms of payment and inventory according to company policy
Completes all assigned paperwork appropriately
Ensures all health codes are followed
Directs barbacks when stock is needed
Serves customer in accordance with ASM/Savor alcohol policy
Establishes and maintains positive client relationships
Other duties may be assigned

Must have attention to detail
Must have good oral and written communication skills
Must have basic working knowledge of bar operations
Must have ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
Must have strong customer service skills
Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
Must have strong interpersonal skills
Must have good organizational skills
Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures
Must be compliant with health codes
Must complete Alcohol Compliance Training
Must be able to pass a background check to include a credit history report and meet corporate minimum requirements
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous bartending experience preferred
