This position reports to the Director of Facilities and is a year-round, full-time position. The position would likely work at one of our 4 campuses. KIPP Jacksonville is seeking a facilities technician to execute preventive maintenance, repairs, and work orders. The facilities technician will work with the Director of Facilities to ensure that KIPP Jacksonville students have access to safe facilities to provide an environment supportive of learning and growth. The facilities technician will carry out daily work orders as assigned by the Director of Facilities to high standards of quality. KEY DUTIESWork closely with the Director of Facilities to fulfill all work orders for on-time completion and to high standards of qualityOn-call response during hours of operation and as neededGeneral grounds keepingProactive maintenance- replacing filters, testing systems, scheduling yearly audits, etc.Reactive maintenance- basic facilities repair: furniture, electrical, plumbing, HVACMeet and anticipate all compliance needs and deadlinesManage relationship with vendors as neededOther duties as assignedCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITSEstimated salary range is $41,000 -$50,000 annuallyAccess to health benefits (including medical, dental, and vision)Access to short-term and long-term disability insurance403(b) retirement program with a company matchTraining and professional development subject to change school year to school year
