Job Summary

:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Jr. Project Manager for an opportunity with a client located in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of multiple projects across various stages of project lifecycles. The candidate will work to coordinate resources for projects creating and implementing new processes to support development of all products across the portfolio.


Responsibilities:



  • Manage the implementation and deployment of new and existing software functionality

  • Create and maintain detailed program plan and define key deliverables in conjunction with workstream leads and functional experts

  • Continuously evaluate processes and practices for process improvement opportunities and documentation of lessons learned

  • Gather ETA information from calculate timelines for application development

  • Coordinate resources in certification to be used in certification testing

  • Communicate between sales and development when questions or issues arise

  • Observe project during all phases and work to eliminate roadblocks if project starts to stall

  • Provide updates on status of projects through the project dashboard and the weekly project review call

  • Ensure all documentation is in Confluence and the Confluence page is in the proper status during the project

  • Partner with sales and confirm requirements

  • Make changes to project plans



Required Skills:



  • Attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities

  • Ability to prioritize with strong time management skills

  • Ability to create and maintain project documents

  • Ability to champion, gain cooperation, and effectively finish the projects on targeted

  • Excellent in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Project or equivalent software

  • Proficient in process improvement techniques; diagnostic and creative problem-solving skills; and excellent, analytical and facilitation

  • Working knowledge of project development life cycle, business capabilities framework, and business process re-engineering. (Development life cycle and various testing types)

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and comfortable interacting with all levels of management and various departments throughout the project inception to completion

  • Advanced administrative knowledge of Jira and Confluence

  • Ability to create and edit audiences and workflows within Jira

  • Assist leadership in improved process management by utilizing features within Jira

  • Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures




Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Management or Business-related field

  • 5 years experienced in change management concepts
