Provides guidance and recommendations to improve the functionality and cross-module utilization of the various ERP modules/applications. Primary responsibilities include the following:Examples of Work
Coordinates the improvements, corrections, or enhancements of 1Cloud.
Coordinates the efforts among the module functional leads/owners and the information technology leads as needed.
Responds to emergent problems in timely manner and focuses both on long-term projects and immediate tasks required to maintain system functionality.
Reports project(s) status to the Comptroller; provides support to managers, recommends and facilitates resolutions.
Guides the team and users through planning, analysis, issue tracking and resolutions.
Understands objectives set by the stakeholders and coordinates with leads to construct detailed requirements which will meet those objectives.
Analyzes impacts and coordinates with leads for patches and development work on existing functionality/customizations.
Responds and corrects system issues for resolution and coordination of service requests with the software provider.
Participates in projects that impact 1Cloud to ensure proper interaction with external systems.
Directs and coordinates work of others to test, develop and/or modify system functionality.
Facilitates continuous process improvement opportunities.
Ensures proper and adequate testing of solutions and/or updates is completed.
Facilitates and plans for end user training, as needed, and updates/maintains training documentation.
Assists with implementation of governmental Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Analyzes and interprets accounting systems and related controls.
Performs user testing of financial and accounting information in the 1Cloud system.
Other duties as assigned.

A seven (7) year combination of education, and professional experience in accounting, finance or related field.
Preferred
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting or related field is preferred.
Three (3) years experience at the professional level in governmental accounting or governmental auditing is preferred.
Oracle financial experience is preferred along with knowledge of process documentation, project management, application development, process re-engineering and end-user training and documentation.
