Company: Johnson & Johnson VisionPay Rate: $16.70/ hr for 1 st shift$18.00/hr for 2 nd shift1 st Shift: 6 am – 6 pm2 nd Shift : 6 pm – 6 amSchedule: 1 st week, 3 days on and 4 days off. 2 nd week, 4 days on and 3 days off. They will alternate every week.SUMMARYThis position is responsible for accurate receiving, storing, shipping, repackaging, and palletizing of product to meet company standards of sanitation, safety, security, and productivity.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform pick and pack activities (order picking and/or assembly of products) and record storage in a timely and accurate manner.
Repair and recoup damaged goods as required.
Count all product, compare to manifest and check all shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates.
Report shortages, damages, and miss-shipments on appropriate forms.
Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
Efficiently stack and store merchandise.
Compare quantity, labeling and address with order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.
Transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment.
Stencil, tag, or mark orders as required.
Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, re-boxing, and repacking as needed.
Efficiently move product into trailers, rail cars or containers.
Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts.
Ensure proper stock rotation.
Operate shrink-wrap machine.
