POSITION PURPOSE Under the guidance of the Sales Supervisor, the Sales and Service rep is responsible for maintaining and improving the sales and customer service levels for their assigned accounts. The associate will be responsible for working with all necessary internal and external business partners to resolve issues and improve processes, as needed.MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
50% - Follow open issues through to resolution in a timely and efficient manner.
20 % - Daily execution within Excel, Outlook and SalesForce.
15% - Establish and maintain a relationship with all internal partners and with each customer
10% - Escalate problems to the attention of management as appropriate.
5% - Access inventory needs and availability.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel <5%
Minimum Qualifications: Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.Education Required: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2 yearsPhysical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Strong communications skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels of management. Solid understanding of workflow organization inside The Home Depot Pro, Specialty Trades. Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to be empathetic to customer’s issues and demonstrate the desire to help. Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Excel and other Office products. Ability to quickly grasp new systems and tools. Strong organization and leadership skills. Ability to prioritize and function in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Highly motivated Strong follow-up skills Decision making capabilities Have a thorough understanding of The Home Depot Pro, Specialty Trades product offering, service platform and processes.
