In this position you will complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments, create individual transplant plans with patients and families and provide counseling and education throughout the liver transplant episode of care.QualificationsRequires a Master of Social Work (MSW) or Master of Science in Social Administration (MSSA) degree from an accredited social work program.Candidates must have an advanced knowledge of mental illness, personality development, knowledge of the types of treatment, and skills in conducting individual, group, and family therapy. Must have knowledge of adjustment to medical diagnosis' and chronic disease. Strong communication skills are needed to interact with patients, patient's family members, consultants, residents, hospital personnel, community agencies, and other resources.
