Description Robert Half has an immediate opening for a Technical Lead with a strong .NET and Azure background. This role is 50% technical leadership and 50% development. This is a hybrid role - onsite in Jacksonville, FL.Technical Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of .NET applications.
Azure Expertise:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of Azure services and technologies.
Utilize Azure resources for efficient and scalable solutions.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with onshore and offshore teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Foster a positive team culture and mentor junior team members.
Communication and Leadership:
Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Lead by example, promoting best practices and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
AWS to Azure Migration:
Experience in migrating applications and workloads from AWS to Azure is a plus.
Provide insights and recommendations for successful migrations.
Scripting Proficiency:
Proficient in at least one scripting language, preferably Powershell or Python.
Automate routine tasks and contribute to process improvement.
Change Planning and Implementation:
Develop and execute plans for implementing changes in technology stacks.
Ensure smooth transitions with minimal impact on ongoing operations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development.
5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
Strong background in Azure cloud technologies.
Experience working with offshore development teams.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Powershell/Python).
Proven ability to plan and implement technology changes effectively.
Familiarity with AWS to Azure migration processes.
Certifications in Azure technologies are a plus.
