Title:Software Quality Assurance Test LeadHomeSafe Alliance is the single global household goods movement manager for USTRANSCOM and the U.S. Armed Forces, Department of Defense civilians, U.S. Coast Guard, and their families. HomeSafe will have a 24/7 global contact center, to support over 320,000 moves globally every year.Responsibilities:
Managing system integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
Working closely with stakeholders to understand product specifics and creating corresponding test strategies.
Serving as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications for web and mobile applications.
Develop and document end-to-end functionality test case narratives using task management system (JIRA/Confluence).
Collaborate with developers and other team members to identify and prioritize test cases with significant experience with a product which has complicated and intricate processes and workflow.
Define metrics to track completion phase, defect reports, defect prevention, development efficiency, and quality.
Perform comprehensive unit and limited application testing; prepare and maintain technical and user documentation.
Ensures compliance with configuration and change management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience/skill :
2 - 4 years: Software testing, with a focus on regression testing and automated testing.
2 - 3 years: Background in building test cases, testing manually and with automation, documenting test steps and strategy, using modern testing methodology and tools.
Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements.
Understanding of DoD contracts and/or government contracting experience.
Agile software methodologies including core ceremonies (Scrum, Backlog, Planning, Review and Retrospective).
Advanced understanding of test plans/cases, regression/exploratory testing and requirements/defect tracking software (Azure DevOps, JIRA).
Advanced SQL skills (draft/edit complex queries as a part of test cases).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, unpredictable and deadline driven environment.
Personal drive and initiative.
Knowledge of data warehouse/ETL desired.
Ability to travel, as needed (up to 25%).
