We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Staff Accountant to join our finance team at our Jacksonville, FL office. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to grow their career in a collaborative and supportive environment. 100% in office MUST HAVE A BACHELORS IN ACCOUNTING plus an INTERSHIP or 1 YR EXPERIENCEsalary: $60,000 - $65,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilities

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Conduct variance analysis and prepare detailed reports on financial performance.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

General Ledger Management:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions.

Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.

Manage accounts receivable, including billing, collections, and reconciliations.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of all accounts payable and receivable.

Audit and Compliance:

Assist with internal and external audits.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Maintain proper documentation and records for all financial transactions.

Tax Preparation and Filing:

Assist with the preparation and filing of local, state, and federal tax returns.

Ensure timely payment of taxes and compliance with tax regulations.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
