Server / Food & Beverage Specialist
Compensation: $15–$18/hr + gratuities DOE

Marché Côtier is a French-inspired café and coastal market offering artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, boutique wines, espresso, and curated retail goods. We are looking for a polished, friendly, and reliable individual to join our team as a Server / Food & Beverage Specialist.
This is not a traditional restaurant role — it blends café service, retail hospitality, and product knowledge. Ideal for someone who enjoys food, wine, and guest engagement in a warm, upscale environment.
Position Overview
The Food & Beverage Specialist is responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences through:
-Building and presenting charcuterie boards
-Pouring wine, preparing beverages, and executing basic espresso service
-Assisting guests with retail purchases from our cheese case, wine selection, and specialty shelves
-Maintaining café tables, bussing, resetting, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment
-Completing opening and closing duties
-Learning and retaining knowledge about our cheeses, wines, charcuterie, and house products
-Providing light table service and polished counter service
-Representing Marché Côtier's brand, hospitality standards, and attention to detail
Who We’re Looking For
-A friendly, polished, hospitality-driven individual
-Someone who enjoys engaging with guests and educating them on food & beverage
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented boutique environment
-Reliable, punctual, and consistent with strong work ethic
-Able to follow SOPs, maintain cleanliness, and communicate clearly with the team
-Prior café, barista, wine service, or food service experience is a plus
-Cheese, charcuterie, or wine knowledge is a bonus — but we’re happy to train the right person
Compensation
$15–$18 per hour + gratuities (DOE)
Staff receive tips and have opportunities for product training and growth within the company.
