Position: Team Room/Kitchen Manager
Location: PossAbilities Plus, Atlantic Beach, FL

Job Summary: The Team Room/Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the tearoom and kitchen at PossAbilities Plus. This role includes maintaining budgetary controls, managing inventory, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive environment for volunteers and participants. The manager will also maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation while effectively managing and instructing volunteers and participants, ensuring that tasks are tailored to their abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the budget for the tearoom and kitchen.
Identify and implement cost-saving measures and reduce waste.
Order food, beverages, and supplies necessary for daily operations.
Ensure all orders are timely and within budget.
Focus on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction in the tearoom.
Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain a well-organized and sanitary kitchen and tearoom.
Ensure that all areas comply with health and safety standards.
Supervise, train, and assist volunteers and participants in tearoom practices.
Foster a positive and friendly working environment.
Document procedures and best practices for kitchen and tearoom operations.
Maintain accurate Serve Safe Training records and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift items as necessary.
Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds, such as supplies, food items, and small equipment.
Must have the ability to use kitchen tools and equipment, including knives, utensils, and small appliances.
Must have good visual and auditory acuity to monitor kitchen safety, food preparation, and customer service interactions.
Must be able to communicate effectively with participants, volunteers, and customers, both verbally and in writing.
Working Conditions:
The role primarily involves working in a kitchen and tearoom environment.
Frequent exposure to kitchen equipment, food preparation areas, and cleaning products.
Occasional exposure to varying temperatures, such as working near ovens, stoves, and refrigerators.
Part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week.
Flexibility in scheduling may be required to accommodate special events or peak times.
The work environment may have moderate noise levels due to kitchen equipment and customer interactions.
