Job Overview: We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Body shop Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will use their skills to paint Industrial machinery in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.
- Apply paints, coatings, and spray equipment.
- Mix and match paint colors according to specifications.
- Inspect completed work for quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed.
Requirements:
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial painting or a related field.
-Proficient in painting techniques and materials, including epoxy and polyurethane coatings.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
-Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including heat and humidity.
- Proficiency in using spray guns, including adjusting air pressure and fluid flow.
- Knowledge of applying multiple coats and understanding drying times for optimal results.
