Overview:
We are a small manufacturing facility seeking a highly self-motivated individual with a strong aptitude of creativity & great attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have eagerness to expand & learn new skillsets. Candidates must not only do well, but thrive in a team setting that has the ability to provide constructive feedback, uphold positive open dialog and adhere to direction.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Fabricate & weld metal components according to jigs, prints & specifications
-Perform basic maintenance & cleanings on equipment
-Collaborate with team to ensure project accuracy & completion deadlines
-Inspect finished products for quality control
- Utilize various tools & equipment such as saws, press brakes, mandrel benders, hand grinders, welding & plasma cutting equipment
- Perform fabrication tasks to build or modify parts as needed
- Keep log of consumables & parts needed to hold inventory
- Operate forklift & man lift as needed
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and problem solving
-Creative ability to fabricate new products & problem solve
-Keep organized & clean workspace after each workday
-Follow opening & closing procedures daily
-Enter daily work log in Slack with progression of projects, production, and constructive feedback
Requirements:
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for metalworking tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well solo & in a team environment
-Diagnostic abilities & self resourcefulness
-Ability to create & manufacture prototypes/ modify parts as needed
-Basic to intermediate mechanical knowledge
-Ability to decipher engineered diagrams of products to fabricate accordingly to specifications/ jigs
-Basic CAD software knowledge (Ex: Solid works, Fusion360, E-Machine shop) (Preferred but not required!)
-Basic to intermediate knowledge of various CNC machinery such as mandrel benders & plasma cutting equipment
-Intermediate MIG welding knowledge for steel & aluminum
-Knowledge utilizing various hand tools such as bandsaws, hand grinders, drills, pallet jacks
-Ability to utilize heavy machinery such as press brake, belt sander, wet bandsaw, forklift, manlift

Pay: $18.00-$22.00/ hr
