This position focuses primarily on the repair of irrigation systems: Including troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing a variety of system components. The applicant must be familiar with the various irrigation components. This position requires the ability to work independently as well as with a team and may sometimes require overtime. You must be available to work weekdays and occasional Saturdays, especially during the "busy season".
We do prefer 2 years of irrigation experience, however we will train with equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully learn to perform the duties listed below.
Primary Responsibilities:
Repair and Service existing sprinkler systems
Perform irrigation reroutes and assist with other irrigation crews when needed.
Complete scheduled jobs on a daily basis
Report and/or handle customer complaints
Maintain good work habits
Work independently to meet deadlines and achieve results
Perform other related duties as required
Skills Required:
Perform basic repairs and maintenance activities
Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine solutions
Use hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner
Understand and follow oral and written instructions
Work independently and in team situations
Communicate and effectively interact with customers in a positive way
Invoice customers and explain their charges
Maintain truck stock on daily basis
Bending, kneeling and digging are required
DRIVERS LICENSE IS A MUST
Compensation: Based on experience
