Roller Operator position will be required to help in all aspects of our business including; striping, sealcoating, asphalt repairs, grading, signage installation, and other asphalt paving duties. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
Description as Follows:
Safely operates roller to compress/compact dirt, aggregate, or blacktop to achieve the specified grading and smooth surface.
Keeps roller clean and prepares equipment for transport on flatbed when needed.
Performs daily inspection and maintenance and ensures that roller is in safe, proper working order including fluid checks and proper lubrication. Reports to shop when roller needs maintenance and repair.
Determines speed and direction of roller based on knowledge of compressible material to achieve a smooth grade and/or surface.
Constant physical effort, including standing, is required during a regular work shift of at least eight hours per day. Employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and to stoop, bend, and crouch as required to perform Key Duties.
Ability to lift and carry, on a frequent basis, at least 50-90 pounds personally, and up to 150 pounds with assistance.
Maintain constant alertness to the multiple concurrent activities of the construction site, including the activities of other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment, and the movement of mobile equipment.
Help other team members lay out jobs.
Clean, maintain, and keep track of hand tools.
Knowledge of asphalt paving procedures or the ability to learn.

Pay Depending on Experience: $15.00- $20.00 per hour.
