Property management company is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team
The Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance in individual apartments, houses and common areas. Prepares vacant units for new move-ins. Performs routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities:
-Maintains and repairs include, but are not limited to: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, landscaping, painting, flooring, cleaning, appliances, fencing/gates, and more.
- Responsible for completing all service requests/ work orders at the direction of the maintenance supervisor or property manager as required in timely manner.
- Complete service requests and log all assigned work orders accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Manage vacant apartments by preparing them through the turnover process so units are ready to lease
Qualifications:
- Ability to complete a wide array of repair and maintenance tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- High School diploma, or GED equivalency, and minimum of 1-2 years direct experience
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
- Knowledge in computers / emails to fulfill daily work orders and schedule
- AppFolio property management software is a plus
- HVAC certified is a plus
Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
