URGENT NEED - Multi-skilled Carpenters
We need your expertise! We have been one of NE Florida’s premier builders for the past 45 years.
We are currently seeking highly motivated professional Carpenters with skills in multiple aspects of the construction trades with at least 15 years of experience. Skills in Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, and Drywalling are essential criteria.You will be working on commercial projects with finished carpentry and above skills for long-term employment beginning immediately. Welding, plumbing, electrical experience are a plus.
Your potential income can range from $30 to $40 dollars per hour, and we also provide benefits and performance bonuses.
Specific qualifications for the role include:
Strong work ethic, A good overall knowledge of all trades.
A positive and professional manners towards team members and the management at all times.
● Proper setup and protection of work areas
● Ability to perform meticulous, quality work without oversight and to work independently when required
● Ability to lead a crew of up to 6 people and give them tasks to complete
● Able to produce carpentry assemblies from shop drawings and specifications
● Essential Skills & Employment Criteria
● Ability to work independently when needed without direct supervision and remain on task
● Person is trained & experienced in use of finish carpentry tools and equipment to include, planers, jointers, drill press, routers, table saws, sanders, lathes and other similar equipment
● Person can competently measure, cut & fit finished millwork and lumber of all types withmeasurements accurate to within 1/32” to 1/16” of an inch, including miters and angles
● Person can competently use a framing and speed square for finding angles
● Person can competently mark and cut angles and miters on finish grade lumber
● Person can competently cope inside miters for installation of millwork with coping saw
● Person is capable of installing finish millwork that is plumb, square, level and true
● Person is competent at independently executing layout and install all common finish millwork
to include door & window casing, base board, crown molding, cornice construction, common straight staircases and similar interior/exterior finish carpentry items for both stained and painted finish
● Person can read blueprints and determine layouts and dimensions from printsvarious saws, compressors, nail guns, impact guns, drills, routers, planers and other woodworking equipment
● Successful prior track record as a Carpenter / Craftsman / Multi Trades
● Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing
● Own standard set of tools to perform all of the above trades
● Own truck or van
● Current and valid driver’s license
● Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
● Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
