Job Summary: The Parts Picker is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing parts for shipment or inventory based on order requests. This role involves using warehouse management systems, reading order slips/Blueprints, and ensuring the correct parts are picked, packed, and prepared for delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Pick parts from inventory based on order slips or warehouse management system (WMS) instructions, ensuring the
accuracy and completeness of each order.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by updating stock levels and reporting discrepancies or shortages.
- Inspect parts for damage or defects before packing and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Pack parts securely and prepare them for shipment according to company standards, including labeling and
documentation.
- Read and interpret Blue Prints
Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Previous experience in parts picking/Order Selector role.
-Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
-Ability to lift and move heavy items safely and efficiently.
