Job Summary: The Warehouse Safety Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing safety protocols and procedures within our warehouse. This role involves conducting safety audits, training employees on safety practices, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
-Develop, implement, and maintain warehouse safety programs and procedures.
-Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
-Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
-Provide safety training and orientation for new and existing employees.
-Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
-Monitor and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety gear.
-Collaborate with management to develop and implement emergency response plans.
Requirements:
-Certification in safety management (e.g., OSHA, CSP).
-Proven experience in a warehouse safety role or similar position.
-Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
-Excellent communication and training skills.
-Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
-Proficient in using safety equipment and tools.
