Job Summary: The Electromechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electromechanical systems and machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and equipment reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Repair various power transmission systems and
components including electrical and mechanical devices, such as gears,
pulleys, sprockets, belts of various designs, bearings, drive shafts and
couplings.
-Provide technical assistance and support to team members and other departments. Assist in the development and implementation of training programs related to equipment operation and maintenance.
-Install various single and three-phase electrical
systems and components, such as motors, switches, wiring, conduit,
motor starters, contactors, fuses, light bulbs, encoders, and circuit
breakers.
- Replace various hydraulic systems and components to
include but not limited to: cylinders, pumps, valves, solenoids, motors,
hose, pipe and manifolds
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree in Electromechanical Technology, Electrical Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as an Electromechanic or in a similar role.
-Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical systems.
-Knowledge of electrical circuits, mechanical systems, and control systems.
-Experience with diagnostic tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment.
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
