Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Fabrication & Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our team in the Vinyl and Aluminum fence industry. This role involves cutting and preparing fence materials according to customer specifications, assembling and packaging orders, and ensuring quality standards before shipment or pickup. The ideal candidate has experience in material handling, fabrication, and order fulfillment, with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabrication & Cutting:
Measure and cut vinyl and aluminum materials according to order specifications using saws and cutting tools.
Ensure precise cuts and smooth finishes to maintain product quality.
Read and interpret work orders, and customer specifications.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Order Fulfillment & Assembly:
Gather, stack, wrap, and band materials for customer orders.
Inspect products for defects or damages before packaging.
Label and organize finished products for delivery or customer pickup.
Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
Quality Control & Inventory Management:
Conduct quality checks to ensure all fabricated pieces meet company standards.
Assist in tracking inventory levels and reporting shortages or defects.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow company safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Assist in maintaining a safe work environment by reporting hazards.
Qualifications:
Experience in fabrication, warehouse, or production work (preferred but not required).
Ability to use power tools, saws, and measuring equipment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials (80+ lbs).
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one) is a plus.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
