Florida base pump manufacturer is currently expanding and looking for "TOP NOTCHED" professional Fabricator welders with experience, in its manufacturing facility of construction and industrial pumps, trailers, components, and equipment. Experience applicants must have 3-5 years of experience in MIG and TIG welding with solid wire, fitting parts, and high-quality fabrication. Benefits package, after a 90-day probationary period.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up MIG welding machines based on the job at hand or using a Welding Procedure Specification.
Read and interpret drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
MIG and TIG weld mild steel, and stainless steel components based on the specifications of the drawings
Assemble items as instructed by a supervisor and or standard drawing and protocols.
Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually lifting (up to 75 pounds), or using a hoist or forklift.
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Technical Trade school, or 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or Military training.
Self-Motivated Individual and a self-starter.
Experience with MIG and TIG welding mild steel and stainless steel.
Knowledge of shop machines and hand tools, including grinders, oxyfuel, plasma torches their operation, and uses.
Ability to read shop drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
Ability to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals, and procedure manuals.
Operate forklift to position parts and assemblies.
Ability to identify and plan; measure with accuracy.
Ability to produce "HIGH QUALITY" products consistently.
Willingness to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethic; must be reliable (references required).
Willing to work 40+ hours a week plus overtime as needed
