We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative for a busy building supply company
This position offers a solid salary and commission package along with benefits.
This position is either a direct hire or temp to perm position based on what is best for you and the company.
This is NOT a call center or data entry job. This is a real Inside Sales Representative job.
Position Summary
Primary responsibilities include understanding and delivering superior value to our customers maximizing the revenue and gross profit in your assigned territory. This is accomplished by informing potential and existing customers of the product and services features and benefits as well as communicating customer needs and orders to the facility. You should be able to create as well as present persuasive sales proposals to customers to encourage sales and repeat business.
An exceptional Inside Sales Representative should be able to demonstrate effective communication and customer service skills to continually meet or exceed sales targets.
This position works in concert with the outside sales representative to maximize the opportunities in our market area
Principal Accountabilities
· Call/text/email with customers daily. Focus should be on proactive communication versus operating like a “call center”
· Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers.
· Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts.
· Securing, receiving, entering, and facilitating customer sales orders
· Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally.
· Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs.
· Travel within sales territory as required with the respective outside sales to meet prospects and customers.
