Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Automotive/Truck Mechanic, you must be at least 18 years of age; be legally authorized to work in the United States; possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive/truck repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position; and possess an extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing repairs.

The following additional qualifications are preferred: CDL dot inspections; and ASE Certifications in Automotive/Truck Maintenance and Light Repair, Suspension and Steering, and Brakes hyd. and air.

Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepares safety documents required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), company and any other Federal, State or Local regulations

Interpret work orders Replace chassis / trailer tires when needed.

xperience in PMs and repairs Must be able to lift 50lbs

Must own your own tools (Basic set of Hand Tools)

Must have a Valid Driver's License

Chassis/Container Mechanic: 2 plus Years' experience of Trailer repair (Chassis, Containers, etc.) FMCSA, Brake replacement/repair, and tire replacement/ repair experience.

As an active position, Automotive/truck mechanics are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair. Mechanics must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
