Attraction and Entertainment Solutions (A&ES) is currently looking for a Skilled Woodworking specialist at our production facility located in Jacksonville, FL. As one of the leading designers for uniquely themed environments, custom fabrications, signage, and permanent exhibits worldwide, we have set the standard of full-scale custom fabrication in life size detail. Working collaboratively with our clients and each other is a must and why we are able to create luxurious, professionally done and creative interactive spaces. Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in custom woodworking
- Proven experience in leading a team
- Ability to read and translate shop drawings
- Extraordinary skills in detailing, reading plans, and problem solving
- Knowledgeable of proper use of wood shop tools and equipment
- Knowledgeable of general shop safety and PPE
- Experience with custom millwork, plastic lamination, specialty fabrications, assembly & installation
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Build, assemble, and finish custom product from assigned shop drawings
-Maintaining bench tools and equipment in good working condition
-Following all safety procedures and use PPE as provided
-Installation of finished product on site
-Clean and organize bench; help clean and organize shop as assigned
-Loading/unloading of finished product
-Reporting unsafe or broken tools, equipment, and other hazards
-Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager
