Job Title: Electrical Control Panel Designer
This position requires that the candidate be able to provide a control system design
drawing according to NEC and Underwriter Laboratory guidelines via Auto-CAD from a
Bill of Materials, written specifications, and associated contract drawings if available.
Required Qualifications Include:
·Knowledge and experience in Basic Motor Control and Relay Logic for Lift
Stations, Water Treatment Plants, Wastewater Treatment Plants, HVAC/Refrigeration,
Boiler, and Switchgear.
·Knowledge and experience designing electrical drawings in AutoCAD 2D. Our
AutoCAD program includes a basic library of symbols, circuits, and reference projects.
·Knowledge and experience designing electrical control systems in AutoCAD
utilizing the National Electric Code, Underwriters Laboratories (508A, 698A), and
interpreting customer specifications to meet all requirements.
·3 years of experience required.
Desired Qualifications Include:
·Experience in design with PLC Digital and Analog Inputs/Outputs
·Knowledge and experience in the application of Variable Frequency Drives
and Solid State Starters manufactured by Square D, Allen Bradley, and Siemens.
·Knowledge and experience with Programmable Logic Controller, HMI, and
programming of Allen-Bradley (Logix5000) and Automation Direct.
This is a designer position, not a CAD operator position.
