One Way Plumbing is a family owned and operated State Licensed plumbing company located in Jacksonville's Southside.
We are currently seeking a FULL SERVICE plumber to fill the service technician position available. MUST HAVE 5 YEARS OF VERIFIABLE PLUMBING EXPERIENCE. Must also be dependable. If you can't make it in on time and as scheduled, do not bother applying. Please send resume to service@onewayjax.net
Requirements
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors. Will be the eyes and ears of the company to submit estimates for jobs. Must be able to leave detailed notes relating to issues and what it will take to correct issue.
Requires 3 years, minimum of plumbing field experience, this is not a training position.
Florida Driver’s License (approved by our insurance company) as you will be driving a service van during working hours only.
Analyze problem and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repair
Hand tools of the trade. Power tools and some tools will be provided on service van for use.
Drain cleaning, stoppage diagnosis. Experience with snakes, supervees, plungers and other methods of clearing lines.
Finding leaks and repairing CPVC, Pex and PVC
Re-pipes
Setting toilets, sinks and tubs. Kitchen sinks, garbage disposal, dishwashers and other fixtures.
Sweating/soldering of copper (as needed)
Replacing of stems and cartridges in faucets
Digging ditches , running water and sewer lines
Complete work orders, paper work and computer check in a must.
16.00 to 23.00 an hour
