Job Overview: We are seeking a a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial painting, working with various materials and coatings to ensure a high-quality finish that meets our stringent standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.
- Apply paints, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Mix and match paint colors according to specifications.
- Remove dirt, grease, and old paint using appropriate solvents or detergents.
- Use sandpaper, wire brushes, or chemical rust removers to eliminate rust.
- Use a suitable primer to prevent rust and improve paint adhesion.
Requirements:
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial painting or a related field.
-Proficient in various painting techniques and materials, including epoxy and polyurethane coatings.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
-Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including heat and humidity.
- Understand the different types of paint suitable for metal (e.g., oil-based, acrylic, epoxy).
