Job Title: Experienced Carpenters - Trim / Punch and Finish work
Description: Craftsmen Contractors is seeking highly skilled and experienced carpenters to join our growing team. We are looking for dedicated and reliable professionals who are passionate about their craft and committed to delivering exceptional quality.
This position is a travel position. Employees will leave from the Jacksonville area and head to a location within the state of Florida to a work site location. There are various location needing work. You will stay overnight for the week if you so choose. You can take your own vehicle or go with the company vehicle. You will be compensated for your travel, your logging and meals. This position is also a temp to per hire if the company feels your a good fit and the company is a good fit for you.
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, trim work, and structural repairs, molding and drywall repairs.
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and stairs.
Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a carpenter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation a plus.
Must have all your PPE equipment and tools for the trade.
