Quick Staff USA is one of the fastest growing staffing companies on the east. Our business clients range from small to medium enterprises in construction to the largest meat and poultry producers in the world. We are currently looking to fill Fabricator positions. We are seeking positive, highly motivated employees who possess skills needed to do perform all types of fabrication on a variety of materials (Welding Experience is a PLUS).
Pay starts at $16.00 per hour – $1.00 more per hour if you have Welding Experience
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Works with a variety of metals and plastics by cutting, fabricating, assembling, and cleaning metals
Ability to use a variety of saws, press brake, router/cnc machine, table drills, hand tools, door & panel assembly, stainless steel washing tank assembly, trolley/rack assembly
Pre-Fabricate plumbing, mechanical, electrical, & machine assemblies according to job order specifications/drawings/verbal instructions
Required assemblies, but not limited to humidity duct assembly, slide vent assembly, vent motor harness assembly, solenoid assembly, pvc junction boxes, fan blade assembly, copper coiling coil assembly, fan belt guard assembly, drum cord assembly, heater-bar brackets, set machine/drum motors with cords, bracket assembly.
Mount prefabricated assemblies listed above to the tops and back panels of incubator/hatcher machines using hand tools, pneumatic tools, silicone, etc.
Use of drills, routers, files, punches, grinders, bench rollers, power shears, rivet gun, squeeze gun, screw gun, sealing gun, jigs, fixtures, templates.
Produce Quality Work & accurately read a tape measure
Reports any issues/inventory shortages to Supervisor/Manager
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs or more
Must be able to frequently stand, walk, lift, twist and reach overhead for 8-10 hours per day
Maintain Safe, Clean, and Organized workstation
Must be a strong team player, very versatile, and motivated to meet company goals
Understand and follow safety and quality control procedures
Responsible for keeping equipment operational by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling in repairs to management
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Job Requirements:
High school graduate and/or minimum 1 year of experience in installation, manufacturing, production environment is required.
Welding and aluminum experience is a PLUS!
The metal fabricator position operates on the Production floor where it can be noisy and dusty. Ability to work in various temperatures while indoors
Standing for extended periods of time. Repetitive motions, bending/stooping, reaching/grasping, and carrying/lifting. Requires the ability to lift various items up to 50 pounds or more
